Our healthcare client is looking for a Vice President of Communications & Marketing, a leadership role responsible for the development and execution of the organization's communications, public relations, and marketing programs.
VP of Communications & Marketing Responsibilities:
- Create and oversee the execution of all corporate communications and marketing programs.
- Work closely with executive leadership to further the organization's strategic goals and serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with Government Relations.
- Interact with reporters and the media; develop appropriate messaging and statements.
- Oversee employees responsible for internal communications, strategic partnerships, PR and media relations, digital marketing, social media strategy, executive communications, and more. The Communications, Marketing, and Business Development teams have a dotted line to this position.
VP of Communications & Marketing Requirements:
- 15+ years of corporate communications experience with at least 10 years spent in a FOR-PROFIT healthcare setting, specifically in a large matrix environment and preferably a multi-state health care system.
- MUST have experience with investor relations, mergers & acquisition, and labor communications.
- Served in a leadership role overseeing the corporate communications function at a c-suite level.
- Proven track record of communicating successfully with executives, board members, physicians, elected officials and community stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience with government relations, specifically working with elected officials and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, planning and leadership skills with the ability and desire to build strong relationships across the health care system.
- Amazing mentoring and coaching skills with experience managing communications and marketing teams.
- Bachelor's degree
Details & Logistics:
- Location: MUST go into the office in San Bernardino County, CA 3 - 4 days a week. Relocation assistance will be offered.
- Annual Salary Range: $200,000 - $350,000 (dependent on skillset and experience); additionally, may be eligible for the organization's discretionary bonus program
