Our client is a highly regarded global organisation dedicated to advancing market research, insights, shaping policy, and fostering awareness for a vital and strategic asset. They are seeking a driven and innovative professional to join their team, focusing on Asia's dynamic and evolving markets including, but not limited to, (Singapore, China, Vietnam, Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand and India).

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a leading spokesperson and market commentator, acting as the face of media engagement and owned content for the organisation
  • Analyse demand and supply trends, market drivers, and portfolio dynamics across key Asian markets, delivering insights that influence decision-making.
  • Develop quantitative models and translate research findings to craft compelling narratives
  • Lead high-impact presentations, sharing knowledge internally and externally across Asia, while representing the organisation in media and industry forums.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including fund managers, analysts, and investors, to build and maintain relationships.
  • Spearhead initiatives targeting younger demographics (Millennials through to Gen Alpha) to enhance awareness and relevance through tailored communication strategies and partnerships.

You should bring:

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in a combination of financial market and/or investment strategy, market research, broadcast media or consulting, with strong financial literacy and quantitative expertise.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, combined with exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
  • High degree of financial literacy together with sound grasp of current geopolitical and economic issues.
  • Proven ability to engage diverse audiences across cultures, including younger generations, using innovative traditional media/social media and influencer strategies.
  • A professional degree in Economics, Finance, or an MBA in Marketing/Communications (or equivalent).
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial, and solutions-driven approach with a passion for creating impactful change.
  • Expertise in amplifying content on social media channels (paid, owned and earned), such as LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok is a plus.
  • Experience and understanding of Chinese social and digital media and regional cultural nuances
