The Role – Account Manager

We are looking for an Account Manager to join the luxury travel and lifestyle team of this agency, working within a talented team of four. You’ll ideally have experience across luxury travel as priority and ideally food, beverage and lifestyle.

The ideal candidate will be well travelled and have a solid understanding of the luxury world with relevant media contacts and relationships across major national newspapers, glossy magazines and niche titles on and offline.

Key Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

  • Managing all aspects of an account to ensure the day-to-day smooth running of campaigns and achieve optimal results 
  • Inputting on creative strategy for clients, including the development of individual PR plans and strategy documents
  • Planning, organising and attending press functions and press trips 
  • Conceiving and implementing creative ideas to generate media coverage and position clients in the luxury lifestyle space
  • Overseeing forward features planning and pitching
  • Drafting and distributing press releases and blog content as necessary
  • Ongoing media outreach to maintain senior editor contacts and develop new relationships and further social media contacts
  • Researching any third-party information/competitor set on behalf of clients as well as key partners (agents locally or abroad)
  • Assisting the Account Director in ensuring reports and tasks are completed promptly
  • Overseeing client collateral material and the operation of an efficient filing system
  • Monitoring media and industry trends and awards
  • Proactively organising and attending meetings with media and third-party partners on behalf of your clients
  • Liaising with the global offices and affiliates as required to help coordinate and share PR materials and news
  • Guiding and supporting your Account Executive(s) and Intern where necessary and assisting in their training and development
  • Regularly contributing to the groups social media channels
